Meet John Bielka:
A civil engineer running to deliver practical results and lower costs for District 31
My name is John Bielka. I am a civil engineer, public works leader, cattle farmer, father, husband, and community volunteer.
I spent my career building and fixing the roads, utilities, water systems, sewer systems, and flood-protection projects families depend on. After retiring from public works, I chose to focus full time on this campaign because I believe the 31st District deserves practical leadership in Olympia.
I understand rising costs, housing pressure, taxes, utility bills, small business, agriculture, and the frustration people feel when government creates more paperwork than results.
“I will not support unfunded mandates that shove costs onto cities and towns and end up raising local taxes or utility bills.” — John Bielka (D)
I am running as a Democrat, but I am independent-minded and practical.
I believe government should protect people and the environment, while also reducing unnecessary delays, paperwork, and costs that make housing, infrastructure, and everyday life more expensive.
I believe in environmental stewardship — but I believe regulations should be outcomes-based and measurable, not paperwork and delay.
If you want a representative who will read the bill, show the math, tell you the truth, and deliver results — I’m asking for your vote.
